No, not at all! You'll make friends with rho gams and girls in your rush group and its really just about getting to Clayton and talking to girls in recruitment in each chapter. There isn't much downtime.

Not really. You spend most of your time in the beginning talking to the sororities honestly. Yeah it is nice to get dinner in the dining hall before rounds start or talk about how nervous you are with friends, but talking with people during rush can also get in your head. Like, why did That chapter invite her back and not me? Or your friends are saying ew, you like that chapter? Like it's a lot of unnecessary opinions when the only opinion that matters is your own.
Your recruitment councilor will actually be a good person to vent to. They are supposed to be an impartial opinion and there for guidance during your recruitment!
