When you apply to rush and put down any legacies do they check to see if it's real or do they take your word for it?

It's checked and confirmed by each sororitys nationals.

They Definitely do. Especially considering for some chapters, being a legacy is an automatic invite to skit round or even in some chapters philanthropy round. I don't know what happens if you do lie about it (never seen that happen) but I can imagine it doesn't reflect very well on you.
