I swear if I see one more thread asking about GPAs, I'm gonna flip. Your GPA is like 1/100th of the reason you would ever get a bid from a sorority. You can't change it now (unless you do winter session), so stop worrying about it. I got cut from like 3 sororities my first round with a 2.8.

It has been said before, a GPA will NOT get you a bid to a sorority, but it can keep you from getting one. There are hundreds for girls in recruitment and 11 houses, we have to start making cuts somewhere.
There are 20 girls named Taylor going through recruitment who were captain of the softball team and ride horses and also started a charity that donates blankets and clothes to the homeless and are also super funny and love to binge watch Greys Anatomy. How do you start to whittle down the list? If Taylor A has a 3.2 and Taylor B has a 3.0 and Taylor C has a 2.7, Taylor A and B have a better chance of getting asked back rather than Taylor C. Make sense?
Extreme example, no one expects all of those qualities from a PNM but when there are so many excellent candidates for membership in our sorority chapters, we have to have something concrete to be able to cut the lists down.
