gpa
by: lalalaWhat are most sororities gpa requirements? If you have a 3 are you safe for most houses?

AXiD def requires more than a 3.0 and i think ADPi does too.
But yes, a 3.0 is good for most of the chapters here.
"Safe" isn't really the correct term here...sounds like you are competing on a reality show (which I think is how a lot of PNMs think of sorority recruitment nowadays...). Having a 3.0 doesn't get you any more brownie points with sororities, it just means they don't have a reason to not invite you to the next round based on GPA (maybe they have another reason to not invite you back).
Rushing the sororities here isn't about winning or staying "safe", it is about finding a home here at UD. A group of women that will not only make you better version of yourself, but that you will impact as well. Good luck :)

Look, freshmen, I know there are some of you freaking out reading this because maybe you had a rough time adjusting or you realized your major isn't right for you or you're a science major stuck in chem and bio and calc etc. You're going to be okay!!! As long as you didn't fail all of your classes this semester, you should be fine. Yes having a 3.3 would be nice, but that isn't realistic for some of us. If you can scrape by with a 2.7 you will be okay for most houses. Sure there may be some that cut you solely for GPA, but don't be discouraged!

I'm pretty sure ADPi is a 3.0, SK is a 2.8/2.9, AZD is a 3.0, Theta is a 2.9, Aphi is a 2.5 and I'm not quite sure about the rest, this is just what I hear from girls!
I think SK and AZD are the most strict about their gpa requirements and are harsh with cuts after open house rounds, but then again this is just what I heard when I rushed. It might just have been an excuse as to why girls didn't get asked back or why they made so many cuts.
