Speaking as a guy in a top tier frat, I think it's hard to rank where Gamma Phi is right now. We've had mixers with both Gamma Phi and Asa on one occasion and Gamma Phi was undoubtedly the better looking and more fun of the two. That being said, has Chi O fallen far enough to now be matched with Gamma Phi? I dunno. I'd be interested to see both of the sororities side by side in a four way mixer, but that probably won't happen anytime soon seeing that the two don't like each other very much

ASA used to be the same or better than Gamma Phi, but don't seem as popular anymore. Most girls I know like people in ASA's chapter, but as a whole they're just too much. Gamma Phi gets called tryhards, but apparently theyre fun to mix with (and good looking) so they keep doing well. I really dont know much about chio (except for stereotypes) but popular opinion seems to say that theyre still better than both. Who knows after this recruitment though.

I think phisig will be close to even with Asa after this recruitment and gamma phi will be close to ChiO. I wonder if aphi will do well or slip further too?

The only thing that bothers me with people saying gamma phis are "try-hards" is that they seem to be trying hard to be well respected not necessarily top teir. If that was all they cared about no way would they host a sisterhood event with DG. I also think that on this campus being nice and involved has leveled with being attractive in terms of teirs which is why sororities like AZD and GammaPhi have risen and sorities like APhi, ChiO and ASA have fallen. It'll be interesting to see how it is after recruitment.

guy perspective here. no way is adpi and aephi above ASA. At least in terms of looks.
