No sorority on campus has dues that high. Each chapter is different, but generally your first few semesters (2-3) will be more expensive and the cost will go down.
Also consider what the dues cover, for every chapter it's different. For some, dues cover everything and for others you pay separately for your pin, formal (for you + your date), pr items, etc. It pretty much all evens out in the end. My advice? Don't choose a chapter based on cost, most have payment plans or scholarships to help girls that wouldn't be able to afford membership otherwise.

that's if you "live in".
As in, live in the house. which would take place of room and board. so take the money you would be spending on a meal plan and a dorm and put it onto the dues.
some people are unbelievably stupid and uniformed. stop commenting on stuff you dont know about.

Theta is up there pretty high too, although i think it goes down drastically for them after the first semester.
