frat tiers question
by: UDbro 18Hey, quick question. I've been lurking here for a while, and I was wondering if the tiers mean something. And if they do, do they change often. Will I be unhappy/ not as happy to be in a lower tier frat.

Don't pay attention to anything on this site. Rush as many fraternities as you can, and of the ones that you get a bid from, base your selection off of the people in the fraternity and how you got along with them not reputation. If you are in a "top tier" fraternity and do not like the brothers, you will most likely have a bad time. While you may not realize it, brotherhood is a huge part of fraternity life, focus on fraternities that have guys you like.

This response is spot on. You should go to the fraternity where you like the guys the most. You'll be hanging out with them the rest of your college life.
