Summer rush is one of if not the most important times for fall rush, if you don’t make connections at the summer rush events you likely won’t be able to secure a position in the lucrative frats. Simple.

2. We do have summer rush but it’s all in person so you have to come on campus in the summer

I don’t know a single frat that has ever had a summer rush event.
