Different groups of frats

by: Question

Has anyone noticed within the top 9/10 frats there’s 100% two different sub groups, largely based on where kids are from?

On one side is
Pi Kapp
SAE
Kap Sig
Alpha Sig

Other side
Sig Ep
Sig Nu
Sig Chi

Then theta chi and ka kinda fall in the middle of the two.. is this true with other tiers of frats too / anyone else notice this?

This is literally just townie frats (the Sigs) and non-townie frats (the others). I think you’re just seeing a discrepancy because a lot of the Sig Ep, Sig Nu, and Sig Chi kids have known each other way before college.

Also, there aren't many mid to low tier fraternities that seem to have a townie label. I could be wrong.

Sigma Pi could be considered a townie frat. I feel like a lot of their brothers are beach kids.

Theta chi has a good mix and KA doesn’t have enough brothers to seem like they lean heavy one way or the other
