Freshman Question

by: Fresh

Hi guys, freshman here going into spring thinking bout rushing. I’ve heard there are on campus and off campus frats here. Can you guys tell me the benefit of being off campus vs on campus here? And should I rush them? I know at some schools off campus frats are better.

Some of the of campus frats are good I guess… some that come to mind are Sig Nu and KA . Benefits are probably those frats are pretty free to do whatever. negatives probably hazing .

All the girls on my floor last year would go out to FIJI and APES every Friday. I’d say rush off campus. Less ifc BS and more flexibility to do what u want.

Off campus is a dying breed. Sig Nu is coming back on this spring. KA wants to come back on as soon as they can so they can reacquire the KAstle. Fiji is free falling so I have no idea why they would stay off campus. APES may be the only true off campus frat soon.

After this semester, there’s only gonna be 2 off campus frats, FIJI and APES. I’d still encourage you to rush FIJI tho. Def a top 3 frat here and all the babes love FIJI Friday.
