off campus vs on campus

So was off campus the move this semester? I’m interested in rushing next semester so i wanna know what is definitely the look.

Off campus is the move if you don’t wanna mix with sororities, participate in The intramural frat league, or have off campus mixers. So basically, no it is not “the move”

4 of the top 7 fraternities at UD are off campus. (Sig Nu, Kapps, The Order, Machi). While it is true that mixers do not happen, as most sororities do not want to get in trouble with the school, there are ways to work around that. As for intramural sports, the IFC league is beat anyways. Ultimately, it is your preference, but the school is trending towards off campus with IFC Fraternities doing terrible numbers-wise in comparison with previous semesters.

^FIJI and SAE will be kicked off soon enough. Sig Ep is the University’s golden boys so they’ll never be kicked off.

There is no specific move. Just find the group you vibe with the most. You’re going to find hardos who will say “off campus is the only move nowadays” and ones that say “off campus is for freaking losers, only on campus matters”. Go where you think you’ll have the best time.

It started when sigma chi got kicked off in 2012. Then anyone after that who got kicked off just made their own little unofficial club off campus. And now there are probably gonna be more off campus groups than actual recognized frats at the rate we are going.

Actually Sig Chi was the top frat here and a pledge missed an important class and blamed the frat and the university caused a hazing witch hunt which led to their downfall despite their huge Delaware alum presence.

if you are looking for a traditional fraternity experience rush on campus. if ur looking for social clubs go off campus , and thats not even a jab at off campus frats cuz there are pros and cons to both
