We def edge them out for academics overall (I think certain things like our eningeering programs are pretty comparable thought)
Football of course we can’t compete with them on that. But hey don’t forget about super bowl mvp Flacco👍🏻
Partying, again I think overall it’s pretty equal. And really you wanna talk about their Greek scene? It’s on lockdown since they LITERALLY KILLED A KID. The only thing they have going for them is Greek houses but the sororities don’t even have any like ours have so 🤷🏼♀️

We don't "edge them out for academics" Udel is ranked # 8 in the country for chemical engineering, other than that we are a party school. They have a better overall engineering program, business school, etc... They also have a bigger greek system and we can't compete with sports. I like it here, but hey are the facts.

Whatever I think our academics are still better...but who cares our degrees will be obsolete soon 🤪

Not just engineering. Nursing program on point as well as biological sciences. Both better than penn state. Lots of tech better than psu too.

they’re both on the same level academically so here’s a few differences to think about...
delaware’s campus is a lot smaller than penn state’s - you may feel more comfortable at UD and less overwhelmed
which school is closest to you? having a shorter drive will be nice for both you and your parents, especially if they plan on visiting
are you okay with delaware’s long winter break? it goes until mid february
do you want a football school with tailgates? then choose penn state because there’s basically no football at UD
both schools are big party schools with a pretty campus - the biggest difference in my opinion is the size of the campus. i go here to UD and I definitely recommend, but you honestly can’t go wrong with either school because they’re both great options

Bottom line, they're both amazing schools with great academics, but Penn State is bigger with more alumni connections essentially. And you can't compete with athletics. Look into where you feel more comfortable. If you are going into engineering, business, nursing, or biology, consider Penn State. The programs are top of the top.

Honestly PSU is a bigger, better school. They have a better greek scene. Looking back I wish I went there. The football student section is partying there is fun af. It's eh here tbh.
