engineering frat

I’m a freshman engineering major.. I didn’t rush this year due to my workload, but I’m considering rushing next year. I received emails from SPD-the engineering frat -both semesters this year. To be honest they strike me as kind of desperate how bad are they? Should I bother or rush others? I haven’t heard good things, but maybe I’m wrong.

It's not that I couldn't handle the classes. I just wanted to wait and see how things went.

Are you wanting to rush a Frat because you want to drink beer in the basement with hot girls; or because you want to work to improve your community and make life long lasting friendships and connections? If your answer is the latter, then rush SPD. You are an engineer, SPD if full of engineers. If you want to make connections in your chosen field and use those connections in your future career, this is no brainer.

SPD is a want to be frat. They aren't guys like you describe. A lot of them aren't even engineering majors anymore because they couldn't cut it. They want to be the frat guys drinking beer in the basement, but they can't get the girls. Don't lie to this kid. They TRY to be selective and not let every engineer rushing in, but ...

One of the brothers told me they were trying to get pledges who play on sports team because they want to mix with higher tiered sororities-what?? They want to change their image lolol.

if u want an honest opinion is just rush anywhere and if u don’t vibe with them then don’t accept their bid if they give u one
