what’s happening

This has lots of down votes but it is true. Higher sororitys are mixing with lower sororitys. That’s the cycle of Greek life that most don’t see in 4 years of college since it usually is slower. It’s only really because of new chapters coming to campus for sororities and fraternities and because of UD cracking down on frats. It’s not bad just changes

I’m new to my sorority and kind of see what your saying but this is also kind of confusing. Greek life is definitely changing but I don’t get what you mean. I think your basically saying that eventually sororities won’t have mixers because there will be no more fraternities but I’m not sure

Fraternity ranks are cyclical with chapters getting kicked off and rechartered. Think Sig ep top, Pike bottom. Both being historical names at UD and at one point Pike being above Sig ep.

When a "top tier" fraternity gets kicked off they are usually unable to officially mix with top tier sororities and then mid tier frats begin mixing with top tier sororities and on goes the shift. UD is at a tough spot where if they kick fraternities off, they merely go off campus and use social media to recruit new members. Machi is a perfect example while Sig Pi and Apes are merely surviving (sorry but its the truth).
