problem with recruitment (once removed so reposted)

The reason why so many girls drop out of Rush on preference round or bid day:
The problem is that soo many people on this SITE, spend soo much time tearing apart, embarrassing, and humiliating the so called lower tier sororities. These so called lower tier sororities are the same as the so called upper tier and middle tier sororities BUT FOR THE DEGRADATION experienced on this site. Girls don't want to be associated with the reputations manipulated on this site. If people did not tear down others for NO REAL reason then girls would join the sorority where they feel comfortable without fear of social stigma. All sororities including the so called labeled lower tier, have gorgeous girls and not so gorgeous girls.
Even the so called upper tiers have not so gorgeous girls. All sororities have events, fun, leadership opportunities, and sisterhood, and most importantly the opportunity to grow as a person and build your own social network. Things would change in this system "if" people started concentrating on the benefits of each chapter rather than tearing them apart. I won't hold my breath that things will change.

This is spot on. I agree šÆ
One thing Iāll say is about the ābottom tiersā also having gorgeous girls....like who cares. Looks in life SHOULD NOT MATTER. And we as women are told if we are not beautiful and gorgeous we are not valuable. So while yes there are beautiful girls in every chapter, thatās not what makes the ābottom tiersā just as good as anyone else. They are academically and philanthropically equal or superior to other chapters, involved in other campus activities and in high praises from their national offices, and they LOVE each other. And yeah they also go out and yeah they all have great physical attributes but BEAUTY AND BODY SIZE SHOULD NOT BE WHAT MAKES A SORORITY WORTHWHILE.

This is the realest talk. Iām in one of those ātop tierā chapters and we literally just need to show up to rounds, look like we bathed, and talk to PNMs and they want to join no matter what. The ālowerā chapters put so much work into their recruitments but it doesnāt even matter these PNMs have made up their mind. The lower tiers are handicapped when it comes to recruitment because of PNMs perception of what their reel experience should be.
