New on campus and still kinda unknown to the rest of us. I know some of the guys and they're nice guys. Haven't been to their parties so idk about the social scene but probably pretty meh since they're new

Honest answer:

It's a new group, which means they're obviously not going to be near the top or even the middle of the social scene yet. However, the group isn't "settled" like ZBT is in the rankings and your experience in the group will mostly depend on what the brothers make of it.

Probably good guys in it because the douches are usually spread around upper tier frats.

The guy that founded beta is really dope and super nice to everyone so rushing beta is definitely a good move if your looking for cool guys and not concerned with “upper tiers”

Don’t know much about them at all but just go with whoever you fit in with the most. Sure most other frats have a better social scene but if you don’t make friends there then what’s the point? College is what you make of it

I would rush somewhere else. Beta Theta Pi was founded here shortly after the death of the BTP at Penn State. The recruiters from their nationals HQ gave bids to a bunch of herbs and pretty much instilled a no-party atmosphere within their founding class. From my understanding, these are kids who could not even get a bid from ZBT.
