not a high enough gpa should I rush a sorority sophomore year?

Yes! That’s super common to do here, no one will really question a sophomore going through recruitment. Spend the year getting involved in other stuff on campus as well as raising your grades!

You can rush this year and see what happens also. If you’re barely at a 2.5 maybe I’d just wait, but if you’re up around a 2.8 or higher give it a shot. No one can tell you what will happen if you give out your stats here.

they said "not high enough GPA" so I'm guessing they had below a 2.5 and couldn't even register for recruitment

Some girls consider 2.7, 2.8, heck even 3.0 “not high enough”. She didn’t say she didn’t have a 2.5. Check the other thread on this subject girls are being told some chapters drop anyone not at a 3.0...so reasonable to think that a PNM would then assume a 2.5-2.9 isn’t night enough. Which might be true but also girls with 2.6s get bids too.
