Yeah they have mixers planned with other low tier sororities. Therefore, pi phi should be grouped with those bottom tier sororities as opposed to adpi and phi sig. The founding class of beta is full of some very odd kids, no mid tier sorority would ever consider mixing with them.

Omg this might just be the rudest post I’ve ever seen on this website. They’re still a new chapter here I think it’s nice that people rank them based on how well they’re doing instead of based on who they mix with. The fraternity tier thing is insane with their criteria of who they will and will not mix with (they won’t mix with a sorority that hasn’t yet mixed with the frat considered right “below” them, which is a huge part of why sororities don’t move much tier wise). I know that for chapters that are directly around them on the tier ranking (aephi, theta, adpi, phi sig) it’s probably insanely frustrating to see new chapters come to campus and be able to move tiers quickly when they’re pretty much not able to move at all because of the way fraternities on this campus treat sororities. My chapter is literally in that situation right now and it honestly sucks. All of those chapters are better than who they mix with. I definitely don’t think they’re as high as some people are ranking them but I think it’s time we stop judging sororities based on who they mix with.

Just take a step back for a second. These are social rankings, not how you think your sorority is or isn’t doing. SOCIALLY beta is the worst fraternity on campus, no argument. That’s not saying they’re not nice guys or whatever. But you can’t take offense to people saying your sorority isn’t middle tier and also say that you can’t base these rankings off of mixers. What else do you want SOCIAL rankings to be based off of? If those chapters were better then who they mixed with then they’d mix with better chapters.... but they don’t. This really goes without saying....

Aephis were quick to show themselves and attack on this post. The new chapters are clearly starting to pose a threat to some of the middle tiers who want to claim and hold their spots in the rankings. It should be interesting to see how tridelta and the future growth of Panhel changes this whole “tier” thing. Imma keep my eye out for some aephi and pi phi drama for now lol.

I was just gonna say this post is literally swarming with aephis. They’re the only chapter that doesn’t seem to be fully embracing and welcoming tridelt (and pi phi last year). Idk how that hasn’t been acknowledged yet lol. W.e. I’m sticking around for this drama too @omg

I heard Beta has mixers planned with other sororities too...interesting to see what the reactions will be to those of everyone seems to be so against being nice and giving a newer chapter a chance for the sake of having a positive Greek community
