I founded my sorority at my school, so if you’re interested, do go for it and don’t worry about how many girls are getting bids. For the first class, more bids tend to be handed out because it’s expected that girls who find they don’t fit in well will drop. As time goes on you get a more solidified group of women who love and care for each other. Unfortunately I knew girls who wanted to rush my sorority at first but didn’t because they thought they didn’t have good odds of receiving a bid.

A little over half will get bids (200-250ish) The rest will have to try for COB in the fall or try rush again in the spring.

I think like 500-600 girls rushed pi phi when they were new and about 240-250 got bids. It’s a competitive process getting into a new chapter but also not competitive in the sense that they won’t be looking for one cookie cutter type of girl like some other chapters on this campus do during recruitment. As long as you present well on paper and can interview well you should be fine.

Do not quote me on this but I am pretty sure it was in the neighborhood of 300-350. So most girls got bids.
