You’re upset because you dropped or you’re upset the sorority you wanted cut you?

Rather immature of you. Didn’t get what you wanted so you quit basically. Can’t expect more from girls who are essentially still mentally high schoolers. You and the chapters that still actually INVITED you back are probably better off this way 👌🏻

@lol you sound super immature in your response and I agree with “lmao”, even if their approach was a Little aggressive(although I understand it’s sooo hard when PNMs don’t trust the process). You spoke with maybe 9 girls out of 125+ and you know who you belong with? Or just who you want to belong with am I right?
I would’ve been a little more trusting in the chapters as to who they see/know who fits in with them better than where you just want to end up. I didn’t see myself in my chapter at all (they’re a “middle tier”) and I never would’ve believed I’d fit it with these girls (I’m a little more crunchy granola hippie type while my chapter is stereotypically a little more put together) but my life is sooo much better because of it. Being a part of a group I am still so different from made me friends with girls I would never have met and gave me a much more diverse friend group. Their strengths are my weaknesses and I know I’ve grown because of them (ugh so emotional, still have pref round feels). And I can’t forget my unique impact i know I’ve had on my chapter too. I wish I could say to go to your rounds and test the waters but obviously it’s a Little late.

Your better off, do internships and clubs,
many girls were facebooking months before
school to get an edge. Trust me, no one is
going to care if you were in a drunken
sorority, it really doesn’t matter.

MRT? More like B I T T E R.
Please don’t act like the majority of this school doesn’t get drunk and party. Is it slightly more fun to do it in Greek life? Of course. But do not for one second try to write us off as “drunken sorority” girls.

@LMAO I'm just telling the truth. Don't worry, you'll learn to put yourself in other people's perspectives one day. Now run along

RUNNIN ALONG STRAIGHT TO BID DAY TO ALL MY NEW MEMBERS SUCKA 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽 ♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️< br /> But seriously, to see things from your warped and narcissistic perspective where you didn’t get what you wanted so you quit? Ok...
Or maybe you can start to understand that people like me and your rho gammas and panhel tell you things like to “trust the process” because we’ve actually been in your shoes before. Your situation and the feelings your feelings are not unique. DOnyou know how many girls felt the same way you do now? And how many of the girls stuck it out and got to celebrate bid night last night? The sooner you call a spade a spade and see the reality of your situation (you didn’t get what you wanted so you quit and we’re upset) the better.

Trusting the process- is BS. The process is not fair, nor should anyone think or believe they are better than someone else because during a 15 minute conversation 1 girl decided they don't like you for whatever reason they decide this, justified or not.

If you don't feel comfortable, don't sweat it. But I believe what people have been trying to say in a not so diplomatic way- is give it a chance. If your goal in joining a sorority is to make friends, you can make friends in any sorority, even if you don't fit in with the majority of girls.

If your goal is to make connections nationwide for your future (as you are member for life- in an organization that typically is centuries old and like to help their own members)) then joint a sorority.
If your goal is to get drunk, and meet hot frat boys and you are not top tier- then don't join.

Sorority membership is sometime more about future than the present.

Hope the truth helps.

Honestly, you did the right thing. I “stuck it out” and I still not exactly thrilled with my decision, and it’s been a year. Get your GPA up and show you’ve grown over the next year. By the time you rush again you’ll be in a better situation.

How would raising GPA help in this case...she didn’t mention anything about gpa being an issue for her. Just that she didn’t like the chapters she had left and thought rush was BS.

Relax. Someone else suggested that is what happens and I attributed it too you. So basically you dropped out because the girls you wanted didn't want you. Have you figured out why? You are coming on this site to find other unhappy girls but instead you found ppl who think you are a brat. Defensive much?
