bids out of rushees spring 2018?????

Idk exact statistics but I have NEVER heard of someone at this school not getting a bid. That being said, girls will drop out of the process and say they didn’t get a bid because they didn’t like the houses they had left, but it is extremely unlikely and truthfully unheard of that someone staying in the process/ going to all th rounds like you’re supposed to wouldn’t get a bid.

You will most likely get a bid but it may not be your top choices. I was disappointed when I was dropped right away from a couple of sororities I really cliqued with. I have a feeling my low gpa( 2.55) had something to do with it but in the end I kept an open mind and found my home. My best friends in the world are in my sorority and I wouldn’t change a thing. Panhellenic here and actress the country uses a method called RFM for rush. It BASICALLY garuntees everyone a bid who follows the rules of recruitment. It’s a lot of details I suggest googling it and I really don’t feel like explaining it here but basically if you make it to pref round and rank all the options you have left on your pref card, you’ll get a bid from someone.

each sorority took around 75 last year. 75x12=900. tridelt will take 100-200 but you can only rush them if you're out of panhel recruitment. i'm sure 300 girls will drop out from not following through with the process, so numbers wise, everyone should get a bid.
you'll be fine. follow your gut. don't be shallow and think you belong somewhere you may not. dont be basic during recruitment and what i mean is do not be afraid to be yourself or say the wrong thing. vulnerability leads to the best conversations and will make you stand out from the 800 other girls who spent 10 minutes talking about how much they're loving del so far
