I heard they weren’t coming anymore but i could be wrong.

When Pi Phi came to campus a few years ago, it seemed like a long process but i honestly don’t know. i’m assuming someone from pi phi (since they went through this most recently) would be able to explain some of the process...it might be similar

Their Instagram is gone which is weird. But I Haven’t heard anything official. If they are still coming......
The colonization process is different from normal recruitment or in formal recruitment. What usually happens when a new sorority comes to UD is they do you participate in the first round of formal rush in the spring. Meaning that first big open house round. They will have girls from different triDelta chapters in the area (maybe Towson, UMD or Villanova??) Rushing the PNMs Since there are obviously no sisters in this triDelta chapter yet. After that first round they won’t participate in formal recruitment anymore. It’s really just a way to get PNM’s who are doing formal recruitment to meet the new chapter and get them maybe interested in it.
After formal recruitment and bid day TriDelta will Have sign-ups and little open meet and greets usually in trabant. You will sign up for interviews with an Alumnae member of TriDelta, one who is basically trained to pick out colonizing members. GPA will matter more for a colonization because you are basically going on a job interview. You give a resume in and everything.
TriDelta will then have a preference round of sorts once they pick who they want after interviews. Then they will have their own little bid day. They will mostly likely take somewhere between 150-250 new members which is basically the size of a regular chapter here.
