please be honest!!
by: :/I know this has been discussed plenty of times in this forum, but it's still something that has me really worried. I'm a sophomore transfer rushing in the spring and my GPA is a 2.846. To me, it's really the only time I can rush since there's no point in rushing my junior year (in my opinion). So, is it worth rushing? Will I be dropped by a lot of sororities because of my GPA?

Yes, you will get dropped from sororities based on GPA. I also rushed with a 2.8. If it means a lot to you Just the fact that you’re in a sorority, go for it.. It was a tough process for me cause I already knew my top before I entered, and I got so upset when I got dropped from all of them. Just keep an open mind.

I say just go for it! And if you end up getting dropped from a bunch because of your GPA, you can just drop from recruitment. There's really no harm in trying though!! You will get dropped from some, but there are also a ton of chapters who will love you no matter what your GPA is! Just give it a try! Best of luck xo

when you register for recruitment transfers are required to submit their transcripts, so the sororities have access to the gpa’s
