Yes!!! It's totally worth it to rush as I sophomore. I did and almost half of the girls in my rush group were sophomores too. While a lot of PNMs are freshmen, there are soooo many sophomores that rush. Some girls just like to wait to go through recruitment and other girls are re-reushing. Rushing as a sophomore will not hurt your chances of getting a bid at all.

If I am rerushing does going from having under a 3.0 to a 3.0 change who will cut me based off grades?

Some groups will still cut a 3.0 if there are enough other girls with better grades than that that they want. Having at least a 3.0 is definitely better than under 3.0. Also groups will cut you for various reasons and you won’t know what that reason is. Maybe it is for grades maybe it’s just for something else like they didn’t think you’d fit in with their group. Best not to think about the groups that cut you and why they cut you. Just know that having a 3.0 is definitely an OK GPA to have going into rush.

Absolutely worth it! I rushed as a sophomore and it was the best decision even, a lot of sophomores rush here due to similar GPA circumstances. I'd say like a quarter to a third of the girls going through recruitment are sophomores here, I don't think it makes a huge difference vs if you were a freshman tbh
