rush tips to find home
by: PnmCan anyone give pnms like me some tips to help go through rush? I know it is very hard to find your “forever home” based off 20 minute conversations and that much of rush is based off preconceived notions, but how does someone actually figure out where they will be best off?

In the same vein, please get your flu shot!! Last year it went around during recruitment and this year is supposed to be even worse. You don't want to risk missing rounds, let alone getting others sick!

go in with an open mind!!!! don't listen to what anyone says about any chapter. base your thoughts/rankings ONLY on how YOU feel about the chapter and conversations you had with the girls in it! i know it sounds cheesy but trust the process!! everything happens for a reason. you will find your home. also rest up, wash your hands frequently, and dont share drinks with anyone. the recruitment plague is real lol.

Seriously, this is all you need to do. Do you, don’t listen to haters throwing shade at different sororities, and be open to getting a bid from anyone of our chapters here.
Everyone always thinks that sorority rush is immediate love and goo goo eyes and sometimes it is and you know what sometimes it isn’t and sometimes it’s something in between. Give whatever sorority that you get a bid from on bid day a chance. Bid day isn’t the end all be all, nothing is until you are initiated. Feel out your chapter in the real world, after the craziness of rush. I think the biggest mistake girls bank is dropping out of rush completely before bid day or on bid day when they don’t get what they wanted. Sometimes they don’t realize that the group they may not of wanted it first maybe the group that they need in their lives.
