name tags??
by: PnmI’m confused - are PNMs responsible for making their name tags before rush? I didn’t realize this until reading an earlier post. Can someone please clarify?

You 100% do not have to do your name tag before you get back to school. I didn't know we had to make name tags until I went to PNM orientation ( I think most PNMs don't know this is a thing tbh). If you want to start making yours ahead of time, go for it! But it's definitely not something you need to stress over.

Yep you have to make your own but don’t stress about it! I didn’t make mine until like 2 days before the first round and it turned out not so hot but tbh in my experience I didn’t even notice most name tags! It’s mostly for rho gamma use to make sure you’re in the right line order anyway. Just make it something cute and colorful it doesn’t have to be super creative if you can’t think of anything! It’s basically just a design made out of like cardstock on a string or yarn nothing too crazy.

It shouldn't be bigger than a pice of paper. Think the size of a large index card. I'm not really artistic so I cut my name tag out in the shape of a tea mug because I love tea, and I just tapped it to my shirt.

They can be whatever size as long as you can fit your name & PNM number (and hometown/major) but overall usually smaller than a sheet of notebook paper. Don't overthink it! It's not a big deal
