sorority rushing

what sororities look for a GPA higher than 2.5? And if you have one lower than 3.0 will they most likely drop you?

Well considering the requirement to rush is a 2.5, all of them look for higher. Just about every sorority looks for at least a 2.9 from my understanding.

All of them tbh, having a high new member GPA and whole chapter GPA is important to sororities and they don't like giving bids/inviting back PNMs that may be grade risks

If you have a 2.5 I'm sorry but you probably won't get more than two or three chapters back after open house round

what about a 2.8?

I know a few chapters that their minimum is 2.8 but a lot still consider a 2.8 to be a grade risk

Honestly, go through rush and give it a try. Just don’t be surprised when your options are limited.

Most consider 2.75 or below a grade risk. If you have below a 2.75 you may get like 2 sororities back after the first round. If you have at least a 2.75 or higher you’ll be fine.
