Having a high GPA will help you in the sense that you will be able to be invited back to more chapters and won't be dropped by any for not meeting their minimum GPA, but as for being a "more desirable" PNM, that could vary by chapter and how they do their membership selection. All other factors the same though, a high GPA may or may not make it that you are more likely to be invited back than a PNM who otherwise has the same characteristics and credentials as you but a lower GPA. it's all relative and changes based on the chapter!
