rushing as a senior?

by:

Hi! I transferred here last year and rushed as a junior and didn’t get any of the sororities I liked. Should I rush again, or is it worth it? It seems like a lot of people go through it the first time and have the same experience... and then when they rush again they get what they want or one of their top choices.

No probably not worth it if that is your mindset. That goes for freshmen, sophomores and juniors too.

Honestly there's a very very low chance you'll get a bid as a senior, they don't have any reason as a sorority to extend a bid to someone who will only be there for one semester over a younger person who has more time to contribute to the chapter

Also, like more than half of your time in the sorority you'd still be a new member, which honestly a little over a month of being a full member of a sorority doesn't seem worth it to me at all.

Being in a sorority for one semester does not make any sense to me at all. Most of the time, you will still be a new member and have only like two months as a sister. Plus, all chapters have the new member fees, so you will be paying dues and a new member fee for no reason at all. That's basically like paying a thousand dollars for no reason.
