which sororites have informal fall rush?

None really do it openly except for DG. I know girls that joined phi sig in the fall but they were already very close to current members so that's a different situation. Unless you know a good amount of people in a chapter I don't think it's a thing that most really do
You can still rush in the spring as a sophomore though, so many girls do it. I joined mine as a sophomore and about 20 girls in my PC were sophomores too

Not at all, I think I actually had a better experience since I knew what to expect and was a lot more relaxed. it's very normal at UD to rush as a sophomore, though you might have a harder time at some other schools

I rushed twice yeah, and i didnt get back the sorority i got the bid from after the second round, i just made sure i consistently ranked them lowest

@Fall ....that sorority dropped you. just because you rank a chapter the lowest doesn't mean you're cutting them.
Lots of PNMs get confused on this, but 9x out of 10 the sororities are cutting YOU not the other way around. So the chapter that bidded you clearly remembered and didn't bother this time. your ranking of them didnt have an affect on this.

not necessarily question mark, i got the most chapters back you could that round and got my 2 and 3 ranks bumped up, so they could've dropped me or it could've been me ranking them lower
i was just saying that if you really know you won't accept a bid from the chapter the second time, it could be helpful to rank them on the bottom

did any of the sororities ask you why you rushed again? if they did how did you answer your way around it?

A few chapters did ask me, not in like an accusing way but sometimes it just came up in conversation but I usually said something like I went through the process last year but was unsure if I wanted to be in a sorority or not, I wanted more time to adjust to college and find myself, then over the year I decided I really did feel like being in a sorority was for me! I just tried to frame it in a positive light and usually the girls I talked to seemed to think it was a good thing I was rushing again

did you find rushing as a sophomore a disadvantage in any way compared to freshman PNMs?
