sorority legacy
by: PKHi! I'm coming to UD next year and want to rush. My mom is a Pi Phi, so I'm a legacy and think it would be cool to also be a Pi Phi, but I want to know if I would fit in with them? I know they're new on campus but where do they stand? What are they like? It's probably hard to tell how they're going to grow to be, but if anyone has any input that would be cool! Thanks

Pi Phi is new so they're pretty much what you would expect from a new chapter. I know some people in pi phi who are amazing and sweet and super pretty and cool, but then there's are a few who look like they don't really fit, or who id expect to be in Dg or something. They're definitely nice girls, I don't think it would be hard to fit in with them but you should see how you feel about them for yourself during rush because you might have a different opinion. Good luck!

Phi Sig was new only a few years ago just like pi phi and look at them now. They may not be "top tier" but they are a solid middle tier and doing relatively well now, so pi phi could move up as they keep developing as well! A new sorority has a better chance of rising then a sorority who is already developed and plateaus.

I am in a top tier sorority and have some friends in Pi Phi who would also fit in my sorority, but it is not clear yet where they will end up on the tier system. They'll probably need 2 more pledge classes to actually determine that but I think they'll probably end up being upper-middle (somewhere in line with ASA or Gamma Phi) after a few years. Frats seem to really like their last pledge class.

its a sorority not a stock traded on the market. "hold on to them now because they will be on their way up"?
