rushing as a sophomor

I'm a freshman soon to be sophomore, and I didn't rush this semester because I didn't think I was going to want to be a part of a fraternity but I decided that as a sophomore I want to rush. This semester my gpa is below 2.5 so will it be weird or will fraternities not accept me if I rush in the spring as a sophomore. I know freshman rush in the spring so would it be weird for me to rush as a sophomore in the spring next year?

i knew guys that rushed in the spring as sophomores for different reasons. you might be a little more limited but it's definitely still possible.

Age doesn't matter too much if they line you maybe in a few places it could hurt you but overall if they think you'd be a good fit they'll bid you. Also next semester you could rush APES or MACHI who are underground... I allso know for a fact both FIJI and PiKapp take kids with below a 2.5
