military veteran joining a fraternity
by: Ryan001Hi I am going to UD in the fall and have thought about rushing a fraternity there. I served 4 years in the Marines and now am out. A couple of questions: I am slightly older than most of the people their will that affect me? How are my chances of getting a bid? Do they view vets in a positive light? Thank you

Vets are always viewed in a positive light. Nothing but respect to you for that. Honestly I have never seen this kind of situation before but I don't think you'll have any issue. It may be a little weird with you being a little older but if you're cool, there shouldn't be any issues.
