sorority recruitment
by: Hs SeniorI want to rush a sorority here next year, but I was wondering if you need to know someone in order to be top tier. I would really like to be in a top tier sorority, but I don't know a single person who goes here. Thanks!

Honestly, no! I'm in a "top tier" sorority, and I went into recruitment knowing none of the girls in any of them except a few random people I'd had first semester classes with. It really didn't matter who I knew, it was all about where I had the best conversations, connected with their philanthropy and girls, and overall where I felt most at home ! Don't stress, I know it's cliche, but everyone (for the most part) ends up where they belong, regardless of who they know or what tier :)

Yes, you need to be "seen" as one of the sterio types to be top tier. If you have any individual qualities that are unique, you won't be included in a top tier sorority. At UD top tier means shallow and mindless for the most part. Purely done on looks and lack of individuality. Do you have the same hair as the other girls? Do you speak on and on mindlessly with no real purpose? Do you lack individual personal traits? If so you are top tier material.
