This was one of the most drama free recruitments I think in the history of forever. Stop bumping dumb old posts about chapters and asking triggering questions about things that have already been answered or that aren't event things you need to worry about.
If you were really a "Greek" you'd know what continuous open bidding was and also what dirty rushing is.

So I have friends in almost every chapter here in campus. Each group takes a pledge not to haze. The campaign is called "These Hands Don't Haze". I'm sure you've seen banners flying around outside of the houses. Dirty rushing isn't a thing here at UD. I'm going through recruitment myself and I wouldn't be if i had any doubts about hazing or "dirty rushing." Also, open bidding sounds like you can rush any group that has open spots (for whatever reason) at any time of the year. Hope this helps!

Dirty Rushing = When a sorority is promising you they'll give you bid in recruitment or trying to hang out with PNMs outside of recruitment events in hopes that it will make them rank them higher. Nobody can really guarantee you'll get a bid to any one certain sorority and it is really frowned upon since it is usually done in return for something like making sure to always rank them number one or something like that.
Open Bidding = Informal recruitment which is hosted by sororities who have more spots in their chapter after formal recruitment is over. Very few chapters do this. It is usually just DG. It's more chill that regular recruitment with events like movie night at the sorority house or getting coffee on main street instead of insane clapping and jumping and talking for 40 minutes. Usually will start the next month after recruitment and can sometimes also happen in the fall too. Look out for chapters social media for advertising their events and see if there is an email list Panhel can put you on that with info on recruitment.
