Did you make it all the way to pref, rank both available sororities if you had 2 left, and still not get a bid?
Or did you drop out of the recruitment before bid day?

Important questions, they affect the reason why you may not be happy again this year...

Basically, there's 2 types of girls who wind up bidless...
The first is somehow, a girl gets dropped from all of the sororities in recruitment BEFORE the last round (preference round). This really doesn't happen very often at Delaware. Most girls end up with a bid from SOMEONE. (Not necessarily who they wanted...but they do get a bid!)

Then there's girls who go to preference round, dont like the sororities they have left, and drop out before bid day or reject their bid and cry "wahhh sororities are mean i didnt get a bid" when in fact THEY GOT A BID JUST NOT TO WHO THEY WANTED.

So yeah, it would affect this girl's rushing this year because if she was my example of the second girl, then she may just end right back in the same spot last year, not happy with her outcome of rush. A LOT of girls drop out of recruitment on their own but then turn around and say it was the sororities who cut them and then hate greek life.

To ensure you get a bid, go through recruitment...in its entirety.

There, that's the big secret.

If you can't do that you don't deserve to be in the houses that were inviting you back.
