pledging/hazing

Hi I'll be rushing in the fall and I was wondering how hard/ time consuming the pledge process for sororities is. Obviously I know it will take up a lot of my time, and I am looking forward to being engaged with the whole sorority process, but I was wondering how difficult is becomes to juggle academic and extracurriculars while pledging. Also, I was wondering if any of the sororities haze and what their hazing is like. Any opions/feedback would be great!

Well first off you can only rush in the spring so you have some time to adjust to everything. Speaking from my experience there was absolutely no hazing and the new members were welcomed with opened arms by every pledge class. There are tons of rumors that go around but I'm pretty sure most if not all sororities don't haze here. The pledging process really just consists of meetings for the new members and retreats but that's about it for every sorority. Most people don't find it very difficult to balance everything since it's really not an intensely time consuming process.

It's more time consuming as a sister, but balancing academics and friends outside of Greek life is manageable
