sorority recommendations

How important are recommendations? Which sororities will it help if I have one to get into? Also which sororities are the most competitive to get into

Recommendations are basically non existent in the UD rush process. I personally don't know anyone that had any recommendation letters going into rush and everyone turned out fine. As for competitive houses, there's definitely some image of the "top 4" houses on campus that girls go into rush dying for, but at the end of the day throughout the rush rounds girls realize it's best to be in a house you love and feel comfortable in!!
