I wouldn't be surprised, somebody did tragically die at their day drink. Thoughts and prayers for the family.

Not even close. They will not be kicked off. However, all fraternities will suffer for this incident. This may destroy the day drink scene for the rest of the semester. And with good reason.

If they dont get kicked off I will lose all respect for the IFC and honestly idk what more has to happen for a frat to be kicked off even if it couldve happened to anyone

I agree, they should be kicked off. Yes it could've happen anywhere, but it happened at their chapter house full of all brothers. I fully support the IFC kicking Sig Pi off campus.

It's sad that everything is a PR stunt. Somebody tragically died while drinking (something 99% of people do before they're 21)? Let's kick off the frat where its brothers lived....that'll fix so much.

If IFC, UD, or Newark wanted to actually make a difference, they'd encourage safety and training rather than fear and punishment. The large majority of students on this campus drink. Fear of being caught only increases the likelihood of injury.

the brothers of the fraternity are all responsible for anyone who comes to their party. Thats risk management 101. Ifc is holding them responsible for their actions or lack thereof. Not a publicity stunt. Get your oversized head out of your ass

nobody has said it wasnt unfortunate and couldnt have happened anywhere but when someone dies at your fraternity party it cant go unaddressed especially considering theyve been on and off deferred suspension in the past two years the school has no choice.

It could have happened anywhere? You're proving my point that it's all about PR.

People wanting them kicked off are most likely just excited that there'll be an opening in the social scene for their organization to hopefully fill. Kicking them off is all about image.
