while SDT has some nice girls, they are mostly known for being hot and liking to party. none of that is wrong or bad, but they aren't the most philanthropic or sisterhood focused, and can be sort of cliquey. my friends who are in SDT seem to like it a lot, and are pretty laid back. if you rush, it is pretty unlikely that you won't get a bid, almost everyone does!

SDT is a huge asset to campus. Seriously. But, Chapter of the Year is based on filling out self reported survey and essay questions, so its highly subjective and should be taken with a grain of salt. Chapter of the Year doesn't necessarily correspond to a chapter being the best, but that being said SDT is one of the most popular sororities on campus.

They also won outstanding diamond chapter of SDT nationally which is a very prestigious award! Sigma Delta Tau nationally doesn't give out that award every year and when they do, the chapter selected has truly exemplified the values of the sorority and have done an amazing job raising money for philanthropy, exemplified outstanding leadership, etc. These girls are literally and officially the most outstanding chapter of SDT in the nation!
