People hate on DZ and SDT a lot. Some of the statements are valid, some less so, but when it all boils down to it, "tiers" are exclusively about levels of hotness, and SDT and DZ will continue to recruit "hot" girls in the coming year.

AEPhi is a quality chapter with some great girls, but the amount of self-ranking on this site that had led people to believe they are top-tier is ridiculous. They're a solid lower-middle tier chapter and are likely to stay there due to their poor national reputation. KKG and KD have stronger national reputations and each have good enough campus presences to continue to recruit quality girls. Yes, KD has some issues with their sisterhood and KKG doesn't have a history of recruiting the "hot" girls, but neither is in jeopardy of doing poorly this recruitment.

Sigma and DPhiE will continue to be classified as bottom tier so long as the tiers are based exclusively on hotness. That isn't what either of those chapters go for, and girls who wind up in Sigma or DPhiE are usually not girls who desired to join one of "hotter" chapters, their priorities lie elsewhere.

Everyone is going to do well in recruitment, because everyone is recruiting a different type of girl. Contrary to popular opinion, there aren't 30 PNMs that everyone fights over. DPhiE doesn't want the same girls that SDT wants...obviously. Each chapter has a specific personality for a reason.

But actually...dz sdt and kd. Literally idk why people are saying dz isn't hot anymore. They know how to dress themselves and they're gorgeous. Sdt is so much fun, and the sisters are pretty. Kd is the perfect mix of the two in my opinion. Any other chapter can't compete with these three

Each chapter has different kinds if girls. For example, SDT and DZ both have the sorority stereotype girls who love Lilly Pulitzer and wear bows, but they also have the cool trendy type girls. Each chapter has similar qualities and where girls end up is partly due to choices made by girls going through recruitment and choices made by the chapters, but is also largely due to chance. Girls in different chapters should never speak badly about each other because chances are, if one thing had gone the slightest bit differently dying recruitment, they could have been in any other chapter.

DZ, SDT,& AEPHI are the only three worth joining.

Has anyone else noticed that while all of this mean stuff was being said about AEPhi, somebody ranked DZ higher within minutes? DZ has been caught self ranking many many times before, but why do they feel the need to bash other sororities. DZ has the worst reputation on this campus and they deserve it. Nobody will want to join a group of girls who speak so terribly about their own sisters and speak terribly about girls in other sororities too. Not only are you hurting your own chapter, but the Panhellenic community as well. I am ashamed to be even associated with DZ, they are not a sisterhood

agreed with honesty- not in that particular order but those are definitely the top/only sororities people care about.

everybody gives SDT DZ and KD a hard time for "self ranking" But in reality they are the top chapters on campus so their Greek Rank ranking (as meaningless as the site may be) will reflect that. Sororities that are not top but somehow stay number one on greek rank (i wont nAmE Phi Names) should stop self ranking, it makes you look petty. I didn't join my chapter to be part of the elite, I joined because i felt I belong. But I have so much respect for girls in the top tier sororities, just as everyone should respect anyone in an organization. They have worked hard to get where they are and just because you are bitter you arent part of it or you compete with them doesnt give you a right to try to tear them down. Everyone joins for their own reasons and everyone has a sorority that fits them. If you feel the need to bring others down maybe its because you wish you had what they have an you arent happy in your own organization. There are alway going to be top and bottom sororities but t doesnt make anyone better than anyone else, just different. Respect each other girls, you are always wearing your letters.
