Recruitment Advice for PNMs
by: sis
Wanted to give some advice for PNMS from someone on the other side of recruitment. I’ve seen a lot more behavior that gets people cut than last year. I get that formal rush is overwhelming, but there are some big things to avoid doing or saying that you should be aware of.
Sisters don’t want to talk about parties, frats, what you think about other chapters, or any of the other topics you should have been told not to talk about. It doesn’t mean the girls you talked to disliked you if you did talk about those things, but it probably did make them uncomfortable. Sororities are looking to see that you want to join for genuine reasons and parties will follow. Would hate to see great girls get dropped because they don’t understand the rules of recruitment.
