Bottom line: this isn't Alabama and greek life isn't huge here. The "top" sororities are typically more active on campus and with frats, but it doesn't mean the less prestigious sororities don't do anything. If you really want to be involved then you can be on e-board.

hey, older girl here. Sorry things aren’t turning out the way you hoped. I know it’s hard. You are not alone and plz don’t take it personally. I know 1 girl that got dropped by all and rushed again and got a top and another that didn’t get any she wanted and dropped, rushed again and got her top. Sometimes it’s who you know or who you happen to talk to, it’s not you. I suggest if you’re really interested in Greek life and not happy (don’t let anyone make you accept a bid and give it a “try” cuz then your stuck). Go with your gut. If you don’t see yourself happy with where you wind up…drop! There is zero shame in it. Take a semester or year, get to know people and then try again. Greek life can be awesome…sometimes the process to get there sucks, but it will be worth the wait. And PLENTY of girls are in your shoes or have been (raising hand). Good luck! It will all work out in the end!
