what are the ups and downs of joining fiji?

As an incoming freshman what is fiji like? I heard that they are a new chapter on campus, is joining their house worth it? Are the guys cool?

An up would be you get to help shape the direction of the chapter as it's new. The down would be they're new so it could be disorganized trying to figure out how to plan things, also with a lack of history and experience to go off of.

I've went to a fiji party last semester and can say they have the potential to be as good as kappa sig or Delt when it comes down to it.

The guys are super nice and you feel very safe around them. They are definitely mixed with a few weirdos but do have some really awesome guys and are strict about risk management so things were very under control. It seems like they have most of their infrastructure worked out so I'm excited to see where they end up next semester
