A lot of this is based on opinion. SDT and DZ are undisputable top, while KKG is either bottom of top, or top of the middle. The difference between AEPhi and SDT is that while they both take more laid back and hot non-traditional sorority girl types, AEPhi is less desirable than SDT and takes more weird girls who weren't picked up by a top tier sorority.

KKG has long been regarded middle tier, but with their most recent pledge classes, many people have come to view them as top now. Either way they're a great option for someone who's not looking for a super niche group as they're pretty inclusive of all personality types. It doesn't really matter in the long run, because tiers can change over the course of a couple years so the tier you join may not be the one you graduate from. Go based off of personality and who you relate to through conversations. SDT and AEPhi have a lot of similarities. The biggest difference is that SDT is the more social of the two (and perhaps the more notorious) while AEPhi is known for being ultra laid-back.

Please don't look too far into this website. Top-tier, bottom-tier - who cares. It's honestly who you get along the best with and who you can picture surrounding yourself with. Greek Rank will give you a biased view of recruitment and you should go into it with an open mind. It's a bunch of girls - none of whom really speak for their organizations as a whole - picking fights with each other.

ALL of the chapters on campus are amazing and full of some of the highest involved and most academically achieved women on campus.

Why does it matter?

It literally doesn't, people are just catty.
