transfer/upperclassman rushing

I'm thinking about transferring to Vanderbilt as a junior. Would I have any chance at getting into a half way decent fraternity or do they only take freshman? I don't know anyone here so I wouldn't have any recommendations. Also how prevalent is Greek life at Vanderbilt?

You could get into a decent one. Greek life is 100% of social life

I rushed as a transfer junior. Some discrimination at the real top tier places, i.e. don't expect to walk into SAE or Sig Chi. But I ended up in a mid tier.

I'm sure if you're a normal kid who can talk to girls and socialize with the brothers you can get into any chapter you want

You also have to keep in mind that if you transfer as a junior, you're really only going to have 1 year and a half of fun. You have decide if that amount of time is worth the six weeks of pledging.

it's tougher and as an upperclassmen especially you need to be well connected or really stand out.

most fraternities don't really care about upperclassmen
