If any of you saw the destruction this fraternity did to the home they rented for their Old South party....you would be amazed. The deliberate destruction shows the "entitlement" they think they have. Vanderbilt had nothing to do with the chapter being suspended. It came straight from the National Chapter. This home was destroyed beyond belief. A bunch of thugs....Giving this chapter a very bad name.

I visited Vanderbilt University this Spring with my son, Steven, who was just recently accepted into Vanderbilt. My son is very interested in becoming a part of Vanderbilt's great, but deteriorating, Greek community. Coincidentally, that weekend was parents' weekend for many of the Greek Organizations, so I had the invaluable opportunity to meet and talk with parents of current students, and parents in the same situation as I currently find myself. During my rounds with Steven, we were lucky enough to attend an event at the KAPPA ALPHA house, and I was nothing but impressed with the quality of young men that comprise this organization. They were without exception courteous and respectful, engaging and interested. I would highly recommend KAPPA ALPHA ORDER to any and all students looking to become a part of the Greek Community at Vanderbilt University. I know my son will.

sorry to hear about such a great chapter being forced to shut down. One of my good friends is a chi chapter brother. Goodluck with the appeals.
