rushing a frat
by: FreshCan someone explain the process to me? Its Spring and Fall rush for guys? Where do guys from the Northeast who aren't Long Island kids end up? Nothing against them, just know I don't fit in with AEPi.

Basically the fall pledge class is generally transfers and upperclassmen while the spring class is usually all or at least mostly freshmen. If you're a freshman rushing, you'll just go to events at houses you like - first from emails, then from texts. If guys like you back, you'll probably get a bid at some point before actual bid night. Then in the spring, you'll list your top three choices and if your top one gave you a bid, you'll be in it. There's northeast kids in every fraternity but the really northeast ones besides AEPI are Beta, DKE, and Kappa Sig
