About how many sophomores rush during the fall and how many do each fraternity take? (Excluding Sig Chi/SAE that doesn't take a fall pledge class)

I was a fall pledge. Usually about 4-8 with 5 or 6 the most common. Sometimes bigger, sometimes none (DKE)

Are they generally people that know the other brothers really well or can it be someone most never met before? I'm transferring but would like to pledge
