how should I approach rush

Im New in the class of 27 and excited to rush, but so nervous that I’m going to do something wrong. Like everything I read says not to hook up with frat boys who used to date sorority girls, but how am I supposed to know? Also, I was reading something that said I need to be dirty rushing already, but how do I go about doing that? Do I hope girls reach out to me? Should it be happening already? I’m kind of in a niche major and irrelevant dorm so I don’t expect to be in the path of tons of people. Also, I read something about getting in letters of recommendation. I do have some family members and close friends who were Greek. Where do they send those letters? I’m pretty and nice but not rich and I have no chill. Will anyone want me?
